The 2016 Sturgis Rally will be held August 8-14.
More than a half million bikers will head to South
Dakota for the event. Sturgis, known as the
Mecca of Motorcycling, is set among the Black
Hills National Forest. Riders pass by Mount
Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse
Memorial, and the Badlands.

There are several designated routes that riders
can take on their own or in an organized
group. Among these, the Mayor’s Ride
benefits the Sturgis Volunteer Fire
Department. Exhibitors also flock to the rally,
selling accessories and displaying new kinds
of bikes, and participants enjoy concerts,
races, and bike shows throughout the week.
