2. Hareter Babatunde Oralusi
Hareter Babatunde Oralusi, born September 28, 1971 in the city
of Ibadan, Oyo State, is an International social entrepreneur,
activist and gubernatorial candidate for Osun State, Nigeria, in
2015. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Capital
Development Fund (NCDF Group) and African Housing Group,
United Kingdom.
3. Due to his diligence and skills, his peers even
suggested him to become a politician, pastor, or
business person. Hareter Babatunde Oralusi vision
took him towards a small scale business at the young
age of 15. His firm dealt in the supply of locally-
manufactured body cream. His venture soon got
popular and grew into a large-scale supply to several
supermarkets in Ibadan, Nigeria.
4. Awards
Hareter Babatunde Oralusi has been recognized by various
organizations for his social enterprise contributions. Some of the
awards include; Edwin Enterprise Development Awards, Best African
Young Entrepreneur Award in Austria in 2002, The Black Business
International in United Kingdom, Entrepreneur of the Year Award in
2005, and The Solomon Foundation Entrepreneur Awards in 2006 with
cash prize of £200,000 in United Kingdom. The Award of Excellence in
Social Development at the National Economic Development award,
Abuja, Nigeria in 2010.
5. Apart from these business ventures, he has
also played a critical role as a social worker.
In the year 1996, he began as a junior social
worker in Australia. Two years later, he
became able to handle the responsibility of
a team of social workers. He offered his
services to various families, couples, and
adolescents for matters connected with
right abuse, relations, alcohol, and several
others. Hareter Babatunde Oralusi has built
his way towards thriving political
aspirations too.
