The success of a company is ultimately determined by its sales. In order to achieve this employees
are crucial players alongside the functional processes. In the reorganisation of the sales processes at
a major bank, not only did we introduce a capacity-oriented sales planning scheme but also linked the
variable management compensation to the sales goals whilst implementing a transformation process
which changed the mind sets of the employees and management for the long term.
The constant linking of the transformation processes
to hard targets and to a compensation system ensured
the success of the project.
