2. Caister Beach – Beach Location
Cons
- Too stony, doesn’t look
like a beach resort
- Very busy, so it will be
hard to film without
getting masses of people
in it
- Not a lot of filming
space, the beach is quite
narrow so there isn’t a
lot of space to set up a
camera and props before
you reach the sea
- Generally just doesn’t
have the right ‘beach
holiday’ aesthetic.
Pros
- Local, so it’s easy to get
everyone to
- Has sand dunes which
are needed for a shot
during the music video
- The ocean makes a nice
contrast against the
stones for the first shot
3. Holkham Beach – Beach location
Pros
- Wide and flat area, will
be easy to set up props
and tripod on
- Tall sand dunes, needed
for the shot of them
running up sand dunes.
It also provides some
shelter if it’s windy.
- Lots of sand, looks like a
beach resort
- Not very busy, big area
so even if there are a lot
of people, there is
enough space to be
away from them.
Cons
- It takes a while to get
there (1 hour 10)
- Long walk from car park
to beach, carrying props
and equipment may be
heavy
4. Hunstanton Beach – Sunset Location
Pros
- Sunset sets in the middle
of the beach
(unfortunately it rained
when I went so the
photos don’t capture the
sunset well)
- The colours fit with the
‘holiday’ aesthetic
- The direction of the
sunset in local beaches
means it’s towards
mainland rather than
out to the sea
Cons
- It’s not local, so it took a
while to get there
5. Norwich Airport – Airport Location
Pros
- Local so travelling isn’t
an issue
- Open spaces to film
Cons
- There may be people
around
6. Back drop - Performance location
Pros
- Easy to access
- Follows the aesthetic of
the video
Cons
- Small area to film
