2. Location 1 – The Bedroom
This is where the film will begin
the first scene where the news
of the twin towers collapsing
will be told by Zain to his
friends. As you can see in one of
the pictures you can see a
prayer mat and a hat this is a
sign that it a Muslim characters
house, we are also using a older
television to broadcast the
news. This is being done so that
it makes it feel more like 2001.
3. Location 2 – Classroom
This is our second location where we will
be shooting our second scene. This is a
classroom of Zain, Michael, Jack & Beth's
school. The scene which will take place
here is the scene between Jack and
Michael, where Jack begins to question
Michaels loyalty towards his race and
starts to insult Zain and his friends. The
reason why we chose to set this scene in
the school, was because the argument
and the whole story is about teenagers
from different races and how they
reacted to the 9/11 attacks and how their
views changed about certain races and
religions. As you can see from the pictures
each picture is of the location.
4. Location 3 – The Boathouse Inn
This is our 3rd location for our
movie. This is the restaurant
where Michael and Beth will be
meeting to have a talk about
where their relationship is
going. The reason behind using
this location was because the
boathouse Inn is based beside a
canal so using a clip shot of the
water we will signify time
moving by with time moving in
Michael , Beth and Zains
friendship . It will be a
emotional scene as Michael and
Beth will be breaking up as she
feels she cannot carry on with
her relationship, as people are
starting to talk about Michael
hanging around with Zain.
5. Location 4 – Michaels house
• Two scenes take place here one
scene which is between Michael
and his father and the second
which is Michael on his own
thinking about what has
happened to him and how
everything has changed. I chose
this specific location because I
felt that the house had to be
something that represented the
characters. As we have shown
Michael is a simple character so
to represent this properly we
have used this type of location.
6. Location 6 – The Park
This is where our climax scene will take
place. The scene will be filmed outside
with Zain, Michael and Jack. In the
pictures you can see that we have used
the park as a location the reason is so that
we could have lot more realistic feel as
the scene will consist of a argument
between the three boys and I felt it
wouldn’t have had that realistic feel if we
did it on the school premises this is why I
chose the park as a location. first picture
is of where the scene will begin, the
second picture is from where Michael will
run when the argument between Zain and
Jack will ensue.
