After completing a BA Honours in English
Literature from Lady Sri Ram College in New
Delhi, I went to a small hill station in South
India to study photography. Ooty, a quiet
sleepy town was the best place for me to start
developing my interest in photography and
mastering a technique that would then
become a profession. At the Light and Life
Academy in Ooty, I specialised in Travel,
Wildlife, Photojournalism and Fine Art
Photography under the tutelage of some of the
best teachers in their field. I also did a second
specialisation in Studio, Fashion and Portrait
Photography.
I have travelled extensively and am always
looking to explore new places and take on new
adventures.

Selected as one of the 30 Asian Photographers for the Angkor Photo
Festival, 2010 My mentor during this period was Patrick de Noirmont.
Participated in the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop 2009 where I
was trained by Andrea Bruce for a period of two weeks.

PHOTOGRAPHY DESIGN
Responsible for photographing, editing and updating all images for the public profile of
the hotels. These were used by various publications featuring the hotels.
Designed brochures, stationary and other external and internal communication media
Attended several travel trade shows and liaised with agents for the promotion of the
properties. These shows included:
SATTE ’09 – New Delhi

PURE ’09 - Marrakech
SATTE ’10 – New Delhi
Set up and managed social media for the various properties. This included generating
content and ideas.
Managed and ran Sher Bagh, a Relais & Chateaux luxury tented camp in Ranthambhore.
This included working on all levels from staff management to procurement, quality
control and guest interaction.
