Technology readiness levels (TRLs) are a method developed by NASA to estimate the maturity of technologies during a program's acquisition phase. TRL level 1 for Tata Swatch purifies water using rice husk ash impregnated with nano silver particles to destroy bacteria, germs, and other organisms that cause disease. The rice husk ash with nano silver particles purifies the water.
