About Kia Energy International Group
Kia Energy International Group has started activities dedicated to oil, gas, petrochemical and marine industries
with the focus on engineering services, consultancy, trading, training and research specialized in HSSE-MS
(Health, Safety, Security, Environment – Management System) HSSE-MS from 1991.
The group has been professionally active in the field of HSSE-MS engineering in different industries
especially oil, gas, petrochemicals and marine for 20 years.
Heading towards developing activities and accessing global markets and interaction with aligned
international groups in local level and even beyond that, Kia Energy International Group officials have taken
measure for reaching some agreements with companies and specialty groups active in the same field.
Senior experts of Iran oil and gas industry believe that HSE engineering has been founded with the
entrance of this industry to Iran. In other words, HSE engineering has got special priority in the said
industries overlapping other industries as well.
We are proud that Kia Energy is among the few Iranian organizations active in the field of HSSE-MS
with oil and gas orientation.

3- The Head of Ahvaz Steel Complex safety and firefighting administration with more than 9000 personnel.
4- The Head of Gilan Wood & Paper Industry (Choka) with more than 3500 personnel.
5- The manager of Alborz Industrial City's safety and firefighting service center in Ghazvin. More than 328
factories affiliated this center.
6- The Head of safety and environmental control of Shahid Rajaee Power Plant Project in Ghazvin. There
were about 1500 personnel.
7- The manager of Kaveh Industrial City's safety and firefighting service center, 375 factories affiliated this

About Imen Bakhtyar Company (IBCO)
Following the end of Iran and Iraq war which had devastating losses to national industries of Iran, the foundation
was set towards country's development.
The major constant focus of all governments after the war was reconstruction and renovation; and national
industries especially oil and gas which suffered from such heavy losses were renovated once again.
Accordingly, protecting sensitive industries taking approved international standards into consideration was a
definite fact.
As a result of all requirements in the field of HSE engineering in different industries of the country especially
oil and gas, a company was established with an exclusive mission in HSE-MS. Mr.Gholamreza Kiarasi as one of
the most experienced individuals (more than 40 years) in HSE industry accompanying a group of senior
engineering experts of HSE-MS, established a company entitled " Imen Bakhtyar (IBCO) in 1997.
IBCO has accomplished more than 40 various projects from the time of foundation successfully. A
considerable amount of such projects have been dedicated to oil and gas industry of the country with HSE-MS
orientation.
As a result of some requirements felt in the arena of HSE-MS engineering knowledge and crisis management
in the country, IBCO started interaction with well-known companies in developed countries for the purpose of
localization of latest global technologies in the field of oil and gas safety, environment and marine.
This caused IBCO managers to sign cooperation agreements with various companies and international centers
aligned with their major field of activities that is oil and gas safety, environment and marine and take measure for
assigning representatives in some countries.

Since one of the basic challenges and issues of Iran petroleum industry, is fire protection of petroleum
installations, the major experiences of IBCO source from projects delivered to it `via the client in the field of
safety;
Until the establishment of IBCO, no company was registered with exclusive statute in the field of safety, fire
protection, managing HSE offices and industrial firefighting and currently companies having exclusive statute
and noticeable background are not more than 10.
Environment Department
Environment is one of the pillars of HSE, being neglected during the recent years. Besides, contaminant sources
of oil, gas and petrochemical installations, this issue has been considered as one of the major problems in Iran.
Definitely, the cohesion of this issue with international environment arena has amplified its importance.
Environment department of IBCO, cooperating with senior experts of this industry and universities is about to
enter Iran oil and gas industry concerns. Besides relying on technology gained via academic and industrial
centers of the country, the company attempts to make the best of applicable presented methods in developed

About Petro Tiamsun Institute
After foundation of IBCO in the field of HSE-MS engineering, formation of a specialized training and
research center in the said field was felt essential. Actually, developing oil and gas projects especially grand
South Pars project with the presence of oil and gas multinational companies in Iran was a motivation for
Kia Energy Group to establish an institute with strategies and missions as below:
Connecting with HSSE-MS specialized training centers in oil and gas sector and in developed countries
like (IOSH, NEBOSH, IADC, etc..)
Transferring knowledge into the country from knowledge based countries.
Holding short term specialized courses
Doing research and study projects
Petro Tiamsun Training and Research Institute commenced official activities in HSSE-MS engineering field
via getting license from Iran Technical and Vocational Training Organization. Petro Tiamsun is the first
registered Institute in Iran owning official license from (ITVTO). Petro Tiamsun is honored to get required
license from Central Education Department of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Supervision and
Evaluation Department.

PetroTiamsun is one of the executive arms in Training and Research Department of Iran Oil Ministry in the
field of HSSE-MS and Crisis management being among the few training centers verified by Central Education
Department of Iran Oil Ministry.
During recent years, due to presenting other high quality trainings, in addition to HSSE-MS trainings,
Petro Tiamsun has been center of attention for a number of training departments affiliated to Iran Oil Ministry
regarding technical and specialized trainings in oil and gas industry.
Moreover, during recent years, this institute has caught the attention of its applicants outside Iran and has gained
considerable credit among some neighboring countries like Iraq.
This institute present all trainings based on standards and verified methods by international organizations
like IOSH, NEBOSH, NFPA,…
Until the second half of 2013, Petro Tiamsun Institute has implemented more than 470 specialized courses
(equal to 600,000 person hours) both inside and outside Iran. A part of Petro Tiamsun training courses has been
implemented by collaboration of foreign cooperators as a result of requiring some training facilities and training
visits to be done outside Iran in countries like South Africa, Singapore, Italy, Netherlands, etc….

Training Division
Training division of Petro Tiamsun consist of 5 training groups planned aligned with main mission of
Kia Energy. Training courses of this center are planned based on applicants' request majority of them in oil and
gas industry.
It is worth mentioning that Petro Tiamsun arrange for training courses based on client's idea inside or outside
Iran. This institute present applicable and practical courses and due to this fact, since some courses require
simulators or visits from modern sites, they are conducted in advanced and technology owning countries.
This center is authorized to issue valid certificates verified by accredited organizations of the country and
Central Education Department of Iran Oil Ministry and in conducting international courses, take measure for
getting certificates from accredited international centers.
It is worth mentioning that instructors and all the materials of the said international courses would be
provided and supported by the same international center.
