Outlook for August In closing, real estate activity in the Torrance market was fairly positive from a month-to-month perspective with improvements in total sales, listings, sales/listing ratio, and months of inventory. However, the median sales price trended downward at a 6.4% pace while the median days to sell jumped by 50%. Regardless, my opinion of these stats communicates consumer confidence that the market is moving in the right direction. So, what should you expect in August? Given relatively consistent inventory numbers, stable pricing, and improvements to the sales/listing ratio I suspect August will produce similar, if not better, performance stats. Thus, if you are in the market to buy or sell you should contact me ASAP.
