'BBC Radio Cornwall' has introduced a new Saturday morning show hosted by
David White. The programme combines chart hits and oldies with celebrity
guests, quizzes and games. "Saturday's my favourite day of the week,” said
White. “People aren't working, everyone's in a good mood – it's going to be so
much fun." White’s radio career started seventeen years ago in exactly the
same slot on the same station, though he has worked at other stations,
including 'BBC Radio Two', since then. To help with the show, White is looking
for a new sidekick, researchers and trail producers. He can be contacted at

Also new to the BBC Cornwall schedule are a Saturday afternoon show by the
duo of Pam and Debs, an early Sunday morning show by Naomi Rowe, and a
Sunday lunch show with Tim Hubbard. Nicci Holiday, managing editor of the
station, is extremely excited about the new weekend schedule. "It's a brand
new feel to our weekends with all your favourite presenters," she said. "We've
worked really hard to create something special for Saturday and Sundays and
are really pleased with the results.”
