Qualifications
As a Building Engineer at Providence, my daily responsibilities are to service and maintain
boilers, air-conditioning units, pumps, electric motors, freezers and refrigerators, HVAC systems and
various equipment (wheel chairs, patient beds etc). Perform operations of all plant equipment and
systems and building hardware. Keeping records, such as daily work reports, preventive maintenance
records, and equipment maintenance records.
I was a member of Blount Int. security team, maintaining and troubleshooting security and card
entry system (P2000- Johnson Controls), and video surveillance system (Milestone X Protect
Enterprise system). Experience with security systems, particularly ADT and Johnson Controls.
Worked on Siemens Apogee Building automation and Fire protection systems.
Long experience with troubleshooting and installing motors, generators, pumps, transformers.
For several years worked in residential and commercial buildings, installing equipment and working
on electrical systems, services and branch circuits.
Able to program and troubleshoot different PLC’s. Worked with Allen Bradley family of
PLC’s- RS Logic 5000; SLC500; PLC5; Micrologic1000. Worked with Siemens family S5 and S7,
and TI505, TI545. Also, worked with (now obsolete) Honeywell family of PLC’s.
Experience with Factory talk (RS View from Rockwell Automation)
Worked with AC/DC drives: ABB family of VFD’s 400,550,600 and 800 series. Experience
with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi VFD’s. Worked with Servo drives. Worked with Machine vision
systems, most recently Keyence and Cognex. Just recently, getting trained in Robotic systems (Fanuc).
Experience with pressure, flow, level and speed control using analog devices, high speed
counters, VFD’S.
While still in Bosnia, I was supervisor in a company that made different electrical control
panels had a chance to work different sides of our trade, like crew schedule, ordering materials,
communication between departments etc…
