As Nigerians, we need to take responsibility for our personal lives and future!
Today, Buhari is to blame for your financial and family problems!
Yesterday it was Jonathan, the day before, you also blamed Obasanjo for the same problem.
Since you became an adult and started living, have you ever done anything differently?
Have you ever thought sincerely, about the available opportunities you progenies might have?
Why did you have those kids? So you can pass on a legacy? Or so you can live off them when you are old?
Your parents had 10 children, with arable farmland in an agrarian society, and were Civil servants.
You have 7 children, earn between N30, 000 and N100, 000 with some certificate, have no asset, and you lack any real
intellectual prowess to be financially independent.
You have been around for a while, during SAP, “Abacha stove” and pre-Soludo banking reform, but you never learned
anything about income, budgeting, scarcity, and survival, or what should even be your ideal family size. You just live
carelessly!
Your parents were honest, humble, hardworking people, who had respect for community and service.
But you…! You are vainly proud. You cheat to pass your SSCE (expo). You “Sort” to gain BSc/HND. You even connive to
malign your neighbor and colleague and embezzle company funds.
You don’t obey simple traffic rules, you are reckless on the road, you ram people’s vehicle, and you do not value
pedestrian lives. You hate the FRSC and you would rather run over the VIOs!
You don’t respect the police but you want security. You bypass your electric meter so you don’t pay electric bills but you
want PHCN to supply power 24/7.
When the time comes to stand by the truth, you look the other way! You rather an innocent person is the scapegoat.
The “Sharp” guys are the ones you look up to!
You congregate everywhere for Manchester and Chelsea, but it’s impossible to engage you in a productive capacity or
business idea or business plan.
All I hear you talk about is Europe this…. US, UK that! Where’s you self-worth…when are you going to be in charge of
yourself and your environment?
You cannot create wealth but you want to live like a celebrity, so you scam others. You cannot get your hands dirty in
manufacturing, but you say there is unemployment.
You want free fuel, free health, free education, but you are not productive in most capacity. You do not contribute to tax
but you steal and destroy public infrastructure!
The rich are your gods and you worship them; and “vote” for them out of yourself- inflicted desperation, but
immediately afterward, again out of your self-inflicted desperation, you shout…corruption and politicians!
Don’t blame someone else; blame yourself and others that are just like you.
You guys are the reason Nigeria is the way it is today!
