concerns as well as public welfare interest by adhering to required codes and laws;
   
3. Demonstrated professional growth and success manifested thru promotion and/or promotion to positions of
increasing responsibility;

4. Shown life-long learning desire aimed for progress and growth in profession, thru completion of advanced
degrees, high professional development programs and education and industrial training courses.

6. Course Description : The course deals with the physical properties of common construction materials primarily metals, plastics, wood, concrete, coarse and fine aggregates, asphalt
and synthetic materials; examination of material properties with respect to design and use of end product, design and control of aggregates, concrete and asphalt mixtures, principle of testing;
characteristics of test; properties of materials and materials testing equipment.

16. Other Course Policies
a. Attendance. According to CHED policy, the total number of absences incurred by the students should not be more than 20% of the total number of meetings or 10.80 hours for this three unit
lecture course. Students incurring more than 10.80 hours of unexcused absences automatically gets a failing grade regardless of his/her class standing.
b. Submission of Assessment Tasks. All assessment tasks must be submitted as scheduled. No late assessment tasks shall be accepted.
c. Written Examination. Written examinations are given as scheduled, covering the topics discussed within the period. Special exams for missed ones may be given upon the discretion of the
instructor provided that the reason of being absent is valid.
d. Course Portfolio. All exams and learning tasks shall be collected by the professor by the end of the semester.
e. Language of Instruction. Lectures, discussion, and documentation will be in English. Written and spoken work may receive a lower mark if it is, in the opinion of the instructor, deficient in
English.

According to CHED policy, the total number of absences incurred by the students should not be more than 20% of the total number of meetings or 10.80 hours for this three unit lecture course. Students incurring more than 10.80 hours of unexcused absences automatically gets a failing grade regardless of his/her class standing. b. Submission of Assessment Tasks. All assessment tasks must be submitted as scheduled. No late assessment tasks shall be accepted. c. Written Examination. Written examinations are given as scheduled, covering the topics discussed within the period. Special exams for missed ones may be given upon the discretion of the instructor provided that the reason of being absent is valid. d. Course Portfolio. All exams and learning tasks shall be collected by the professor by the end of the semester. e. Language of Instruction. Lectures, discussion, and documentation will be in English.
