2. Blood type Test
• is a simple test that detects each person's
blood type
• Blood is often grouped according to the ABO
blood typing system. The 4 major blood types
are:
o Type A
o Type B
o Type AB
o Type O
4. method
Sterilize the affected finger, then pierce the finger with the clip. We
draw blood using a capillary tube, after that, a few out of three drops
on the slide, we put on eachdrop the antigen andnote the
coagulation put the antigens type A on the first drop, type B on the
second drop, and type D on the third drop and mix them.
Here we observe coagulation where it will occur and as shown in the
image below, for example antigen A coagulates, this means that
group A and so on with the rest of the groups.
5. For 4, we note 3, if it does not coagulate, the group is negative, but if
it coagulates, the group is positive.
Rh typing uses a method similar to ABO typing. When blood typing is done to see if you
have Rh factor on the surface of your red blood cells, the results will be one of these:
• Rh+ (positive), if you have this cell surface protein
• Rh- (negative), if you do not have this cell surface protein
