Graduate Research Associate: July 2014-December 2016
While employed at the Florida CenteWhile employed at the Florida Center, Genevieve began as a Graduate Research Assistant
and worked on a number of paid projects. She conducted site visits, met with mayors and
local agencies, and was part of the research team that completed a feasibility study for a
large-scale urban project. After a year she was promoted to a Graduate Research
Associate. Her responsibilities included leading teams in workshops and in the office to
produce design solutions and the resulting renderings, plans, and sections. In addition to
gaining design experience, she also learned project management skills.
E X P E R I E N C E
Genevieve Frank served as team leader on multiple design, facilitation, and research
projects. She has led design projects by conducting research, developing schematic
design presentation materials, producing renderings, graphics, and models, preparing
submission materials, and facilitating of a number of charrettes. She has experience
writing reports and design presentations. She is interested in sustainable design and
infrastructure and appreciates process-oriented projects.
