Artificial Intelligence PPT of Gauransh Mullick 5A,R.N-15.pptx
1.
2. Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the
simulation of human intelligence in
machines that are programmed to think
like humans and mimic their actions.
The ideal characteristic of artificial intelligence is its ability to rationalize
and take actions that have the best chance of achieving a specific goal.A
subset of artificial intelligence is machine learning, which refers to the
concept that computer programs can automatically learn from and adapt to
new data without being assisted by humans.
3. Some AI technologies have been
around for more than 50 years, but
advances in computing power, the
availability of enormous quantities of
data and new algorithms have led to
major AI breakthroughs in recent
years.
Artificial intelligence is seen as central to the digital transformation of society
and it has become an EU priority.
Future applications are expected to bring about enormous changes, but AI is
already present in our everyday lives.
4. How is AI Used?
AI is a computer system able to
perform tasks that ordinarily require
human intelligence... Many of these
artificial intelligence systems are
powered by machine learning, some
of them are powered by deep
learning and some of them are
powered by very boring things like
rules.
5. AI used in many places like
voice assistants,natural
language processing,text
recognition,computer
vision,drones,gaming
console,ride hailing apps
6. The reactive machine type is the most basic variety of AI. It merely reacts to
current scenarios and cannot rely on upon taught or recalled data to make
decisions in the present. Reactive machines do away with maps and other
forms of pre-planning altogether and focus on live observations of the
environment. Eg-IBM Deep blue.
Limited memory is a type of artificial intelligence. It refers to an AI's ability
to store previous data and predictions, using that data to make better
predictions. With limited memory, ML architecture becomes a little more
complex. Eg-Self-driving cars.
7. In psychology, "Theory of Mind" means that people have thoughts, feelings
and emotions that affect their behavior. Future AI systems must learn to
understand that everyone (both people and AI objects) have thoughts and
feelings. Future AI systems must know how to adjust their behavior to be
able to walk among us. Eg-Autonomous cars.
The final type of AI where the machines are aware of themselves and
perceive their internal states and others' emotions, behaviours, and acumen.
Eg-robot 'Arm'.
9. 1) Reduction in Human Error
2) Takes risks instead of Humans
3) Available 24x7
4) Helping in Repetitive Jobs
5) Digital Assistance
1) High Costs of Creation
2) Making Humans Lazy
3) Unemployment
4) No Emotions
5) Lacking Out of Box Thinking
10. Strong AI, also known as artificial
general intelligence (AGI),
describes programming that can
replicate the cognitive abilities of
the human brain. When presented
with an unfamiliar task, a strong
AI system can use fuzzy logic to
apply knowledge from one
domain to another and find a
solution autonomously.
Weak AI, also known as narrow AI,
is an AI system that is designed and
trained to complete a specific task.
Industrial robots and virtual
personal assistants, such as Apple's
Siri, use weak AI.
