The F12 is a 50 Watt Flameproof LED Light that is
designed to meet the Explosion Proof Standards
SANS 60079-0 and SANS 60079-1
Code ‘Ex d I Mb’ and ‘Ex d IIB T4 Gb’. This product
has been tested and approved by a certified Test
Laboratory.
It is an enhanced version of a first generation
Flameproof LED Light. The Electronics and LED’s are
smaller, more powerfull, more efficient and thereby
produce a higher Lumen output.
The housing is designed with vibration and
temperature in mind. There is Temperature
Managementto protect the LEDs from degradation
due to over temperature thereby ensuring a longer
lifetime. The housing is mounted on shockmounts
which help absorb vibrations when mounted on Machinery.
The integrated Microcontrollerenhances the flexibility of the light output. For example flashing and dimming of
the LEDs is possible. The dimming function can be implemented for conditions where the normal light output is
excessive for the conditions.
This LED Light also incorporates Red and Green LEDs. The Red LED can be flashed and strobed as required.
A high precision Lens focuses the light output to where it is required in a 13° Beam and with the adjustable
anti-vibration mount it is possible to align the light to where it is required.
