2. VILLAGE CIOCĂNEȘTI
Ciocăneşti village is living proof that people can actually holy place, and the
results are spectacular. It all started with the decision of the City Council, which forces
people to respect traditional architecture. Thus, the village turned into a living museum,
unique in the country, with over 600 households one more beautiful than another.
"These reasons have appeared around 1950 and were taken from the costume. Tourists
really like these houses, gardens with flowers that are in front of the houses.„
Ciocănești has an ethnographic museum. Tourists can see that was the lifestyle of
ancestors hundreds of years ago. Admire looms, pots, tools and popular fabrics and
garments.
In the village there is also a museum of painted eggs, which gathered over 1800 exhibits
extremely rare and valuable.
3. Ciocanesti in Suceava County was inserted into a top 10 travel
guide Lonely Planet. Beautiful area of Bucovina ranks 6 of the
most colorful holiday destinations in Europe. The village is
distinguished by houses painted with traditional architecture,

2015 it was inaugurated Ethnographic
Museum, in order to preserve and
perpetuate the Romanian folk
traditions.
