Fungai Marima is an ambitious young artist who graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the Open University in 2013. She has experience working independently and collaboratively, teaching printmaking workshops within the community. Her passion lies in experimenting with different materials and traditional printmaking techniques like etching and drypoint. Currently, she is a printmaking technician at Havering College and holds a residency at CentralParade in London.

Graduated in BA (Hons) Fine Art with the Open University in 2013 at Havering College, London.
I am a young and ambitious artist brimming with creative ideas, keen to explore the creative
industry and make my mark. My experience of working independently and within teams
continues to motivate and focus my skillset in both learning from and teaching/mentoring
others through creativeworkshops. I possess a hardworking,self-starting attitude that exhibits
itself in the high standard of work I produce. My passion lies in experimenting with different
materials as I am able to explore, produce and improve industry norms, as well as revisiting
traditional techniques such as etching, drypoint and letterpress. I extremely love working
within the community, which encouraged me to create Make the Dream Workshops, whose
focus is on various printmaking techniques.
