Argh. He’s

arrogant.
Not clicking with someone, and even having
significant personality clashes, is relatively common.
Most people have someone or someones like this in
their life at almost any given time.
Do you remember the verse where Jesus said
that even sinners love their friends?
Luke 6:32 (NIV) If you love those who love you,
what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those
who love them.
Well, that’s because it’s pretty easy for anyone
to love those who love them and whom they already
love. But as David Brandt Berg put it, if you don’t love
someone, “[they] can’t even walk across the floor
without you finding fault with the way they do it.1
”
* Perspective. Zoom out from what’s bugging you
or driving you crazy; project ahead. One or two
years from now, will this seem like a big issue or
problem? Right now, it’s in your face and seems
like a pretty big deal, but in the bigger scope of
life and your future, is this really a deal breaker?
Yup, it’s
pretty small in
comparison to
eternity.
The challenge, difficulty, or test of character is to
love someone who isn’t easy for you to love. You
should try to look at it as a challenge that you can
