SUGAR DADDY
It has come to our attention that there are
some websites catering to college girls
looking for a ‘sugar daddy’ to pay their
tuition and other such bills in exchange for
sex. We have many questions.
The first would be is where do you draw the
line? Isn’t this akin to prostitution? Is this
the correct way to seek an education? And
finally, is this politically correct? Shouldn’t
there be sugar mommy options as well?
These are all interesting questions. First of
all, we would like to point out that the cost
of an education has become exceedingly
expensive. For those not blessed with a rich
mommy or daddy, it becomes
extraordinarily burdensome. It is not
uncommon for people starting their careers
with student debt well in excess of fifty
thousand dollars. In some cases, it can
even be in excess of a couple hundred
thousand. The interest alone would be
problematic.
Therefore, the answers to the various
questions that we posed is not so simple. In
our opinion, it does cross the line and is a
form of prostitution. That is pretty clear. Is

it understandable and therefore
acceptable? It is understandable and we
should keep in mind that a woman’s
body is her own to do with it what she
pleases. And, most importantly, the
idea of starting out as an adult with a
huge debt is not something that a lot of
people want to take on.
It goes hand in hand with the American
educational system. There is no doubt
that a great education is possible. But it
comes at a high price and it isn’t
necessarily fair. Is a woman’s pride able
to supersede her practicality? Is she able
to overcome the stigma of basically
selling her body for money?
Clearly the answer for those women
willing to do this, is a resounding yes.
And if the truth be told, we understand
it and are forced to respect their
decision. At the same time, even though
we realize there won’t be as much of a
market, we sincerely believe that there
should be a possibility for sugar
mommies as well. After all, why not?
In conclusion, what we can say is that it
is a sad commentary. It does cross the
line but we accept it. But, and this is a
big but, we would never want our
daughters to do such a thing. Do you
agree?

SOME THOUGHTS
We have often discussed America, whether
it be the political or economic climate. This
is a given because it is the most powerful
economy and to a large degree it controls
the pulse of the world. In other words, for
better or for worst, we are stuck with it.
That said, let’s get to it. We have some
problems with the way in which they
operate and we are confused. Their control
is omnipresent and we are often forced to
listen to what they have to say as they
influence the direction of the world. They
demand respect and are proud of it and, in
many cases, we are forced to listen. But,
one of the problems that we have is that
they have so many problems of their own
and don’t appear to be in control. That
being the case, we often find it difficult to
succumb to their demands.
Let’s start with the guns and the violence in
the schools. How many incidents have we
been able to see in which children in
schools are killed? When it now happens, we
are no longer are shocked. We shrug our
shoulders and roll our eyes. In fact, it has
become so bad that Trump has even had
the audacity to suggest that teachers arm
themselves in the classroom. Can you
believe what he said and are we to take that
proposal seriously? And this coming from a
potential future President. It’s worse than
the Wild West.
And another thing that we have a problem
with is the discrepancy between violence
and sex. In other words, on television,
graphic violence is often depicted. Killings,
attempted rapes and gruesome acts that
defy the imagination are all right. However,
a naked breast on television is absolutely
forbidden. For the life of us, we just don’t
understand this concept. As far as we are
concerned, we would rather see that
aforementioned naked breast than the
horrible degradation we are treated to on a
daily basis. And we assume that you most
of you agree with us.
Furthermore, we also have a problem with
the drinking age. As we all know the legal
drinking age is twenty one. However, the
purchase of a gun is able to be done by the
age of eighteen. In addition, anyone can
also join the army at the tender age of
eighteen as well. In other words, you are
able to kill in the name of the country but
not able to have a drink before you do so.
Does this make sense and is this
acceptable? We would clearly suggest that
the answer to this question is no.
There are other discrepancies that we
could also discuss. But that is not our
purpose to dredge up everything that we
can. What we can say is that America has
many holes. The quality of life, on one
level, is great but there are major problems
as well. Their aggression and their desire
to make other nations ‘toe the line’ is a real
turnoff. It would seem that perhaps they
should wake up and smell the coffee.
POLITICIANS
We are, quite frankly, sick of politicians. We

have said that all along and we certainly
haven’t changed our stance. Have we been
given any reason to do so? There is so little
distrust and the mediocrity that we find
ourselves surrounded by boggles the mind.
And the current process going on in the
states has done little to change our mind. If
anything, it has only fortified our belief.
In what started as a seventeen person horse
race has now shockingly come down to one
contender. And we all know who that is. For
the life of us, we could never understand
the miracle that has transpired and the
position we now find ourselves in. Could
Trump continue in his relentless way and
actually be elected? We are left shaking our
heads in wonder and our forced to accept
the fact that this possibility is increasingly
likely. Before we bury our collective heads
in the sand, we should remember that there
is still a long way to go until the fat lady
sings.
Over on the other side, we have noticed
that Sanders refuses to drop out. It doesn’t
appear as though he has a chance but he
hasn’t budged and is constantly
challenging Clinton. When he does
concede, all he would have accomplished is
to prove how weak Hillary is. She is angry at
him because she has to continue to fight
and spend her energy. And she would
prefer to run unchallenged at this point and
concentrate her energies on Trump.
When the two of these candidates go head to
head, that will certainly be interesting and we can
assume that the sparks will fly. But she had better
be aware and not take Trump too lightly. She has
to figure that she will win easily. This is
understandable when we consider the fact that
Trump has managed to alienate half of the world.
We can’t wait to see what he might say next.
There is also the question of who they will choose
to be their running mate. If Hillary could convince
Sanders to run with her, that would be, in our
humble opinion, an unbeatable ticket. However,
it is no slam dunk because it appears as though
he really dislikes her and would feel
compromised. As for who Trump will pick, that is
anyone’s guess. He has defied logic all along and
there is no reason to think that he won’t continue
to do the same. The proof will be in the pudding
and we shall soon see. To be continued…
CONCLUSIONS FOR THE WEEK
We hope you enjoyed what we had to say. The
sugar daddy article was a little different format
but it does raise some interesting questions. As
for the comments about American lifestyles, it
also raises some interesting questions. We don’t
necessarily have the answers but we like to
speculate and throw things out there. As for next
week we plan to do another Olympic update.
Time is drawing near and it will continue to draw
our interest. We also plan to do another article
about the upcoming Brexit. The time is coming
closer and it should be a very exciting vote and
the future of the European Union could be at
stake.
