Dear Sir:
Greetings of a good day and good tidings!
Our band, in our sincere commitment to promote music as an avenue for aspiring
musicians of today, and even for the youth, and inspired by what others have already
achieved in the music scene, has come up with an idea of holding a “Battle of the Bands”
here in our municipality this October. We have tied up with other organizations to make
this event more realizable, but even so, our resources are not enough yet and we need
assistance in order to be able to hold a decent musical bands’ competition.
In regard to this, I, in behalf of my bandmates, would like to ask for your support and
assistance to make this project of ours a success. We are optimistic that this idea of
holding a music fest-like event even once a year will make our kababayans not only in
Kalayaan but also in the neighboring towns more recognized and more exposed to the
local musical scene and, if Lady Luck smiles at us, be hooked up with one or more
recording companies, just like what our band “Peanut Flavor” is close to achieving.
