This document summarizes the specifications and properties of a self-amalgamating rubber fusing tape. The tape easily conforms to irregular surfaces to provide a void-free and electrically stable seal. It meets the requirements of ASTM-D-4388 Type I and is compatible with all extruded dielectric cable insulation. The tape is recommended for insulating splices on solid dielectric cables from 10KV to 22KV when used with a jacket tape.

1. Self Adhesive Rubber Fusing Tape
Description:
This tape is a self amalgamating rubber tape which meets the requirements of ASTM-D-4388,
Type I. It easily conforms to irregular shapes and surfaces yielding a void free, electrically
stable build up. Compatible with all extruded dielectric cable insulation.
