4. “Musical Landscape - Our proposal of public space and arrangement, vol-
umes, and patterns of the building initiate from musical inspiration. Di-
versity of music make a city alive by having sound itself and also hav-
ing its space and form. Small and large spaces flow within this site, which
are the street landscape, elevations of the building, stairs, plaza, play
ground and other landscaping elements. Music plays in a special city.”

14. One year at BC&A as part of small 5 person team working on a big residential
development in HK, New Territories. I joined the team at the conceptual stage
and worked in the team until the tender drawings with details for construc-
tions were completed. The project consisted of 23 villas - 5 types, club house,
7 apartment towers, public areas. and all the interiors. As the team was small
we had many consultants, teams of draftsman and other offices where we could
outsource some of the drawings. I was responsible for many of the design
parts based on the sketches of the office principal with developing the details.

15. We were working closely with the developer, interior designers, land-
scape designers M&E consultants, cladding and curtain wall consul-
tants , quantity surveyors and structure engineers. The design was based
on GBP drawings provided by clients architectural team. Even though
it’s not a spectacular project, it gave me good insight in Hong Kong
style, standards, clients expectations and limitations BD regulations.

16. 2015 - Linen Hotel - Private Investor - Central, Hong Kong
With 2 rooms fitted in 4,5m wide facade, only a special concept can convince
client to consider such a tight space as an attraction. Providing a popular now,
minimalistic concept mixed with Korean/Japanese traditional motives could
create such an opportunity. Clean, bright white interiors with natural linen /
cotton fabric finishes, simple furniture made of natural wood, wooden floors,
light space could create a neat, fresh cosy space. In humid, grey Hong Kong,
estetical, bright rooms, with soft light and Asian detail touch could become
a brand for the hotel, where you can always expect highest comfort standard.
17. 2015 - Linen Hotel - Private Investor - Central, Hong Kong
The facade of the building would be covered in double layered glass with
linen fabric or similar material in between and glass partitions referring to
traditional Asian window detail. The fabric layer will also protect the inte-
rior from overheating, saving energy on aircondition. Almost solid looking,
soft white volume from outside and semi transparent, bright view from in-
side, this solution would provide privacy without taking away the day-
light, so demanded in HK.It will create in Hong Kong cityscape, a simple
recognizable symbol associated with simple quality of it’s neat interiors.
18. 2010-2014 - Own conceptual design for China Constuction International - China
Working for a huge Chinese company just after arriving to Beijing gave me
good insight in situation on Chinese construction market. Many business
trips around the country, site visits, meetings with clients. As a fresh grad-
uate I got a chance to design skyscrappers and buildings with total area in
single project bigger than some European offices would complete in years. It
also left me after a year with many doubts about what makes good architec-
ture. Those aboive are my concepts of office towers, schools, mixed use and
residential buildings where I got full freedom to propose new concepts.
19. 2010-2015 - Private Investor - Monochrome Music Recording Studio - Gniewoszow, Poland
It took 5 years from the first meeting with young investors until completion of
Monochrome Music Recording Studio. What seemed just an unrealistic vision
of two fresh graduate accoustic ingeeners is becoming now one of most popular
recording venues in Poland and this part of Europe. The site located on the top of
the mountain in remote mountain village was a challenge to get a planning per-
mission.That,togetherwithlimitedbudgetresultedinsimpleformofanoldblack
barn, cladded with wooden planks, that wouldn’t disturb the surrounding much.
The form was a result of spatial arrangements and of focus on spectacular view.

The big square windows in the studio level were later replaced with irregular
rythm that serves its accoustic function. The area of 500 sq. m was divided into
recording space on the main floor, sleeping quarters in the lower floor and small
owners studio flat on the upper floor. The author of the studio layout and solu-
tions is famous Japanese accoustic designer Sam Toyoshima author of world

21. Located in place of abandoned settlement on top of the hill in North-
ern Czech Republic, the most atheistic country in Europe, but at the same
time country experiencing the highest interest in catholic religion this mon-
astery was designed stricty following the rules of the Carthusian Order.
With the 30 ha area of fields the monastery would give home to 24 monks
and 20 secular brothers and would be totaly self sufficient and independent.
To gain deep understanding of the subject the design was proceeded by
3 days stay in Novy Dvor monastery designed by minimalist John Pawson.

22. The settlement is planed on two square terraces, each of 48m long side. The
upper one is reserved for the monks only. It consisted of viridarium sur-
rounded by gallery, twelve erems, chapel and centrally located church.
The lower part is the entrance area with the high house, library, guest
rooms, administration part and public chapel. Dressed in simple vernacu-
lar form the monastery is finished in dark wood and shingle following lo-
cal traditions, tied with strong stone wall that gives is the feeling of in-
accessibility as the order doesn’t participate in life of the outside world.
