2. What You Shall See.
Alternative resources, which are
replacements for fossil fuel such as Hydro
Electric, Geothermal, Solar, Wave, Wind
and Biomass.
3. Define renewable energy
source.
Renewable energy is generally defined as
energy that comes from resources which
are naturally replenished on a human
timescale such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides,
waves and geothermal heat.
4. Advantages and
Disadvantages.
Renewable
Doesn’t contribute
to global warming

5. Hydro Electric Power (HEP)
Fast-Running water
drives the turbines
that work the
generators and
produce electricity.
6. Solar Power
Solar power is the
conversion of sunlight
into electricity, either
directly using photo
voltaics or indirectly
using
concentrated solar
power.
7. Geothermal Power
Geothermal energy is the
heat from the Earth. It's
clean and sustainable.
Resources of geothermal
energy range from the
shallow ground to hot
water and hot rock found
a few miles beneath the
Earth's surface, and
down even deeper to
the extremely high
temperatures of molten
rock called magma.
8. Wind turbines
Wind power or wind
energy is the energy
extracted from wind
using wind turbines
to produce electrical
power, windmills for
mechanical power,
windpumps for water
pumping, or sails to
propel ships.
9. Biomass
Biomass is biological
material derived from
living, or recently living
organisms. In the
context of biomass for
energy this is often
used to mean plant
based material, but
biomass can equally
apply to both animal
and vegetable derived
material.
