Business Development Manager for the Houston Branch (Integrated Procurement & Logistics):
 Experience evaluating vendor contracts and proposals in freight forwarding and procurement &
supply in general; experience evaluating, contracting and working with offshore logistics and
procurement for Oil & Gas and other industries in general.
 Currently Managing the Houston Branch Office: Procurement (RFQ, RFI, RFP), supplier
contracts, supplier relationship management, bidding, quoting and sales activities for the Oil
and Gas market development plan for clients like Petroecuador, Repsol Ecuador, PDVSA,
PDVSA Ecuador, Odebrecht Oil and Gas, GE Oil and Gas.
 In charge of managing the procurement, sales and service teams in 6 countries, customer
relations and sales strategies.
 Currently negotiating and developing procurement service agreements that involve:
Procurement, PO Expediting, inventory management and logistics, with GE Oil and Gas
Brazil, Queiroz Galvao Brazil, Odebrecht Oil and Gas Brazil and Shulz Brazil. Based on
worldwide procurement (Europe, Asia and USA) and expediting with delivery to job site /
plant in Macae, Brazil.
 Developed new markets in Central, South America and the Caribbean promoting integrated
procurement and logistics services offered by Teknik Trading and Clover International,
concentrating mostly in the Petroleum, Energy, Industrial and International Ports sectors.
 Developed a new Corporate Image for the company (website, trifold, presentations, etc.),
obtain upstream commercial relationships, distributorships and nonexclusive representation
contracts with domestic and international manufacturers and developed a “Partner’s Program”
(Manufacturers – Distributors – Teknik – End User relationship).
 Currently developing new markets / clients in Panama, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador,
Venezuela, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Brazil and Chile, as well as the domestic market.
Oct ’08 to Sept ’10 FMB GROUP (FMB Construcciones; FMB Inversiones;
Hielo El Palmar & FMB Equipment Rental).
General Manager:
(Functions within the FMB Group):
 Restructured and reorganized the administrative and accounting departments (functions, rolls,
controls and personnel adjustments) as well as general operations for FMB Group (100 group
employees, not including sub-contractors).
 Managed the migration of the accounting and administrative software to an integrated and
updated version of SAINT 6.1 including a ten year database and a web based back group
system.
 Participated in the design of the reporting features of the system, integrating certain reports on
a group basis for global / macro management purposes and board reporting purposes. In charge
of relocating the entire stock and heavy machinery of the Construction and Rental divisions of
the group to the newly remodelled headquarters.

 Obtained several small business loans for various projects of different companies and divisions
of the group.
 Collected past due payments on projects contracted by various Venezuelan government entities
as well as direct private collections on home owner developments.
 Developed and maintained strategic relationships with key contractors, vendors, suppliers and

 Monitored all procurement contract and non-contract activities for the FMB Group. (Functions
in Hielo El Palmar ice plant): In charge of Hielo El Palmar distribution and sales; managed
the installation of the new automated packing and sealing system for the ice plant; negotiated

management, RFI, RFQ, RFP, bidding evaluation and vendor / supplier analysis (risk analysis),
supplier contracts and purchasing procedures for future).
 Managed core company investments and diversified company and group activities by
participating in the purchase of a packaged ice plant and starting a construction equipment
rental business. (Hielo El Palmar and FMB Equipment Rental).
 Selected, purchased and imported heavy duty construction machinery from the US to
Venezuela both for the rental division and for the construction division.
 Participated in the lease and purchase process of the new fleet for both the construction and the
rental divisions of the company.

International Credit Collection Coordinator:
 Collected and restructured payment plans for international clients in the Central and South
American Markets considered uncollectable (write offs) until contact was made.
 Due to the language barrier I served as a translator and participated in the collection and
negotiation process of accounts in Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Mexico and served
as a liaison between the marketing, sales, and accounting department with other Spanish
speaking clients.
 Served as contact with the Venezuelan Consulate for legal purposes on the collection process
of clients in Venezuela and Participated as an intermediary with CADIVI regulations and
