The Instituto Hispano-Malasio de Formación Profesional or the Malaysian Spanish Institute (MSI) is an advanced
technology vocational training centre which is the result of a collaborative effort between the Malaysian and Spanish
governments. The MSI was set up with the aim of meeting the needs of the electronics, automotive components
manufacturing and motorcycle production industries, by providing qualified professionals in the most advanced
technologies.
Basically, the MSI is a project in which two countries have joined forces to set up a Vocational Training Institute
in Malaysia based on Spanish technology.
The MSI’s Vocational Training offer will be expanded in the near future to include the following programmes:
- Continuous Training.
- Training for the Unemployed.
- Technical Services for companies.
- Teacher Training.
The MSI offers five different Diploma in Engineering Technology, in accordance with Spanish curricular design:
1- Production.
2- Mould & Manufacturing.
3- Mechanical Design & Development.
4- Automated Regulation & Control.
5- Electromechanical Installation & Maintenance.
