2. Have you ever watched someone that has a special charisma,
something that attracts everyone’s attention? Difficult to explain
but it is something that we all can relate to. The special
something has been given many different names: presence,
charm... But why do some people have more presence
than others?
3. WHAT IS IT?
Owl Training is a method that will help you to
identify, experience and implement a state of
flow and mindfulness that can be easily
incorporated into your daily life.
The innovation of this practice lies in the use
of scientific guidelines applied to everyday
gestures, simplifying the exercises and
making this practice accessible to everyone.
Owl Training provides you with new tools to,
not only perform at your best, but to initiate a
more mindful journey towards greater job
performance and stronger presence of mind,
resulting in less emotional exhaustion and a
better work-life balance.

4. HOW IS OWL TRAINING
IMPLEMENTED?
03
Having coached legendary artists such as
Sir Paul McCartney and Carlos Acosta, Owl Training
has gathered the tools that these and many other cele-
brated artists need in order to give their very best per-
formance every time.
Throughout eight years of both, theoretical research
and professional practice at the highest level of the
creative industry, we have made available to everyone
sophisticated concepts such as Flow (Csikszentmi-
halyi1
), Mindful awareness (Varela2
) and Genetic Struc-
turalism (d’Aquili3
).

By capturing the spontaneity, the immense concentration
of being in the moment and competitiveness of sports,
the participant is led into a unique performative state of
mindful awareness, exercising what is at the core of
performing: his/her own state of mind.

PLAYFUL. SO INSPIRING”

5. WHY IS THIS PROGRAM
ESSENTIAL?
04
Through tailor-made experiences Owl Training
helps you to develop the specific neuropath-
ways associated with awareness, focus and
peak performance.
Researchers have continuously struggled to
isolate and identify that special quality that
enables certain individuals to stand out in their
work and in their interactions with friends and
family.
Our unique blend of areas of study dedicated
to defining human states of conciousness,
such as cognitive sciencies and phenomenolo-
gy, allows us to come closer to understanding
this elusive area of performance presence.
Owl Training also provides tools to manage
anxiety and prevents stress disorders: burn out,
depression, etc…
6. MENTAL HEALTH. FACTS
05
Anxiety, stress and depressions
will be by 2020 the first cause of sickness.
2
Up to 10% of people in England
will experience depression in their lifetime.
3 In the UK, the estimated costs of mental
health problems are £70-100 billion each year
4
There are strong links between physical
and mental health problems. Research has
found that:
Brief periods of dedicated practice can lead to objectively
measured higher cognitive skills such as improved reaction
times, comprehension scores, working memory functioning,
decision making and generation of creative strategies.
Several reports from ESADE and Randstad
have found that for each dollar invested by employers
to manage stress, it has a return of 10 dollars.
30%
30% of people with a long-term
physical health problem
also have a mental health problem.
46%
