12. THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR
• TPA function as intermediates between the
insurance provider and the policy holder and its
key function is processing of claims and
settlement
• The TPA issues ID card to policyholders, which
have to be shown to the hospital authorities and
verified before availing any cashless
hospitalisation services
• TPA sends all the documents necessary for
consideration of claims, along with bills, to the
insurer for the reimbursement

available in that hospital then they refer to other
hospital
• only with the referral letter from a govt hospitalthis

• 100 rs should be give as travelling allowance and follow
up medications for 5 days after discharge
