factors:

Location of service being provided
Price : should be fair
Promotion: how and what the prospective
patient learns about organization and service

Public relation : helps to build up goodwill
and image to influence the opinions
• LOCATION: marketing and TPA section is
located in ground floor of old building YMCH
• It is easily accessible for all the patients and
patient parties, from OPD, front office etc

financially supported 4 centres
• Harihar centre is exclusively for YMCH
• Mainly patients are coming from Davangare
• 10-15 regular camps are doing there per
month
• These centres are for assessing health status
like vitals signs and blood sugar, guiding
patients, distribution of referral card and to
get Yen Mitras

THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR
• TPA function as intermediates between the
insurance provider and the policy holder and its
key function is processing of claims and
settlement
• The TPA issues ID card to policyholders, which
have to be shown to the hospital authorities and
verified before availing any cashless
hospitalisation services
• TPA sends all the documents necessary for
consideration of claims, along with bills, to the
insurer for the reimbursement

• Located along with marketing department
• It provides various insurance schemes
• There are 10 desks
• Each one is facilitated with computers
• It is corelated with all departments both IP
and OP

• Its for all the people of Karnataka state includes RTA
cases too
• Cards are provided through govt hospitals
• Has 1 year validity after that renewal should be done
• For APL 30% discount in all services and for BPL free of
cost services
• They are treated in govt hospital if any facilities are not
available in that hospital then they refer to other
hospital
• only with the referral letter from a govt hospitalthis
concession is available
• 100 rs should be give as travelling allowance and follow
up medications for 5 days after discharge
AROGYA KARNATAKA
• For all people belong to Kerala state
• It covers services upto 30,000 adults and upto
60,000 for senior citizens
• Need smart card named CHIS and for elderly
SCHIS
• Doesn’t cover alcoholism related diseases and
injuries, HIV patients , transplantations,
• Excludes oral medications and supplements
• Maximum 5 persons in a card
• TA charge of Rs 100 and 5 days medicines should
be provided
RSBY KERALA
• For all the govt employees and their dependents of
Karnataka who has not covered under any other
scheme
• Any speciality can be included
• 1.5 lakh per year is covered
• For all the employees and their dependants who
is earning below 21,000 per month
• Includes the maternity benefits, for temporary
disablement, individual medical expenses

THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR • TPA function as intermediates between the insurance provider and the policy holder and its key function is processing of claims and settlement • The TPA issues ID card to policyholders, which have to be shown to the hospital authorities and verified before availing any cashless hospitalisation services • TPA sends all the documents necessary for consideration of claims, along with bills, to the insurer for the reimbursement
  • 13. TPA IN YMCH • Located along with marketing department • It provides various insurance schemes • There are 10 desks • Each one is facilitated with computers • It is corelated with all departments both IP and OP

INSURANCE SCHEME • Its for all the people of Karnataka state includes RTA cases too • Cards are provided through govt hospitals • Has 1 year validity after that renewal should be done • For APL 30% discount in all services and for BPL free of cost services • They are treated in govt hospital if any facilities are not available in that hospital then they refer to other hospital • only with the referral letter from a govt hospitalthis concession is available • 100 rs should be give as travelling allowance and follow up medications for 5 days after discharge AROGYA KARNATAKA
