Heat setting benefits staple yarns as
well as bulked continuous filament
(BCF) yarns. Heat setting often
causes synthetic fibers to gain
volume as well. This volume growth
is commonly described as “bulk
development”
Emirates Filament Factory has different heat- setting machines
to supply our customers with their desired yarn structures.
Heat set yarns are delivered to customers on bobbins of specified
diameters of twisted or cabled yarn 1000-3300 Dtex as BCF
yarns pallets.
Heat setting is a thermal process where the twist given to a yarn
bundle is fixed to stay for a longer time while used as a carpet pile.
