A verb is a word that tells you about an action or state.
Verbs can be action words.
They can describe what someone is doing.
Verbs can be thinking words.
They can describe the way we think.
Verbs can be saying words.
They can describe the way someone speaks.
Verbs can be relating words.
They can create links between bits of information.
