Projects Major Project: "Boiler Burner management system Using ALLEN
BRADLEY PLC".
The project deals with automatic operation of the burner in boilers using
Allen Bradley PLC. The objective of the work is to involve a method to
overcome the limitation of a relay based system. The burner management
system (BMS) basically deals with burning of oil-air mixture, providing
ON-OFF control and monitoring the necessary parameters inside the
furnace, so that the boiler runs in the safety environment.
Mini Project: "Automatic Temperature Controlled Fan".
Temperature control is a process to maintain the temperature at certain
level. This method show significant improvement as it is functioning
without needed support from the human to control all the process.
Technical Skills  Automation using Allen Bradley, Schneider PLC
 Calibration using Dead weight tester
 Installation and maintenance of pressure gauges, temperature
instruments, level instruments, flow instruments.
 Calibration of pressure gauges, temperature instruments,, level
gauges, flow instruments.
 Field documentation like P&ID, hook up diagram, spread sheet.
 Installation of transmitter (pneumatic,electric/electronic), control
valve, solenoid valve.
 Calibration of SMART transmitter using HART communicator,
control valve, solenoid valve.
 Instrument cable glanding Tubing
 Test equipments like RTD simulator, mV simulator, DRUCK
calibrator, megger, HART communicator (275,375), temperature
bath, TESTO thermograph.
 Software Tools: RS LOGIX 500(PLC), MAT Lab, Lab view, twudo
suit

Training
 Instrumentation Trainee at SMEC labs, Ernakulam for a period of 3
months. Had a theoretical and practical knowledge of various
instruments used in industries, calibration and maintenance of
various industrial instruments, Automation of various processes in
industries using PLC, SCADA and HMI. Also developed ladder
programming logic for monitoring and controlling various
parameters and safe operation of the plant using ALLEN BRADLEY
and SEIMENS PLC.

2.  Project Trainee at HOC ltd, Kerala for a period of 1 month.
 Robotics workshop at national intitute of technology, calicut for a
period of 1 day.
