Main Project:
Project Title: AUTOMATIC POWER FACTOR CORRECTION USING PLC
Description: Our project is done in Petrochemical division of FACT situated at
Udyogamandal, Cochin. In this project automatic power factor control is achieved using
PLC, with creating program adequate for power factor correction. The software used for
this is AC1131. Ladder structure is used to program and is connected to capacitor banks for
automatic power factor correction.
