3. Introduction
❖Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is the trade related National Single
Window (NSW) for efficient management of external trade.
❖The NSW is an electronic portal that allows parties involved in cross
border trade and transport to lodge standardized information and
documents using a single-entry point to fulfil all import, export, and
transit related regulatory requirements.

❖As a signatory to the WTO’s Trade Facilitation
Agreement (2015), Pakistan has notified the
establishment of a ‘National Single Window’
(NSW) as a ‘Category C’ commitment with effect
from 22nd February 2017.
❖To implement NSW, the Government of Pakistan
has promulgated the Pakistan Single Window
Act, 2021 while declaring Pakistan Customs as
the Lead Agency.

❖Pakistan Customs has established a dedicated PSW
Company (PSWC), as a not-for-profit Company under
Companies Act, 2017, to implement the PSW program.
❖The PSWC has been designated as the Operating Entity
under the PSW Act for developing and maintaining the
PSW portal in collaboration with 77 different public
sector entities involved in regulation of cross border
trade in Pakistan.

17. Subscription Exception Cases
▪ Biometric verification not done through NADRA
▪ The subscriber will receive an email for UID/password along with a message to
contact the relevant Collectorate
▪ A link will be given to open an undertaking
▪ All such subscribers will be intimated to concerned Collectorates
▪ The subscriber will have to appear before the AC/DC concerned
▪ AC/DC will mark the subscriber verified
▪ Collectorates to conduct post-subscription audits
19. Single Declaration (Exports)
▪ For trader’s perspective it is a Single Declaration for consumption of Customs
(GD) and OGAs (LPCO application)
▪ All data elements for GD and OGA applications will be captured at the time of
filing of SD
▪ All mandatory documents also to be uploaded
▪ Relevant data fields/elements will be transmitted to Customs and OGAs
▪ SD to go through IRMS upon submission
▪ Parallel/ simultaneous processing by Customs and OGAs

26. ❖The PSW user will click on the ‘Registration’ menu from the PSW dashboard
❖Select ‘Bank Registration’
❖Click ‘New Bank Profile’
❖Select Bank
❖Enter IBAN, CNIC and mobile number (as per Bank record)
❖The system will validate the provided information from the relevant bank and
create your banking profile

27. ❖Click on ‘Declaration’ menu from PSW dashboard
❖Select appropriate GD type (Import/ Export) and consignment category
❖In ‘Financials’ section, select Bank, IBAN and Mode of Payment
❖System will show you the relevant financial instruments issued to you as per selection
❖Select an instrument and associate with the declaration
❖Proceed with the rest of declaration process
