Job Description:
This position reports to the Executive Director. The primary responsibilities of the FWIO Bookkeeper are as follows;
Prepare payroll bi-weekly
Complete T4’s & summary
Process Accounts Payable with appropriate backup & signatures
Run cheques weekly
Process Accounts Receivable including account designation
Balance receipts and cash weekly, for bank deposit
Complete month end entries through to trial balance & financial statements
Complete quarterly financial statements versus budget
Report quarterly financial statements at on-site Board Meetings
General ledger account reconciliations
Complete HST returns
Track investment interest, sales & purchases – prepare monthly JE
Track fund raising cheques – disburse payments to District
Prepare yearly budgets
Complete year end close schedules
Website updates - donations
Other duties as assigned
Reports to the Executive Director

3 – 5 yrs bookkeeping

This position start date is October 1, 2011. It is a part-time position (2 days per week; $16-$18 depending on
