Up to €67.4 million is foreseen from the 2020 CEF Telecom Work Programme for grants managed by INEA in the area of Generic Services. The grants under CEF Telecom helped European public administrations and businesses to hook up to the core platforms of the digital services that are the object of the calls.
In particular, €5 million was made available in 2019 and €3 million in 2020 for projects oriented towards 'Open Data' management.
GreenMov, ODALA and INTERSTAT have developed services and products that can be easily adopted by public administrations and beyond thank to the funding of CEF programme target on Open Data
The purpose of this event is not only to present results, demos or provide technical guidelines for developers, it is a moment of reflection on lesson learned and best practices that came from years of project’s activity to analyse what will be the impact for Public Administrations, and finally test the value of GreenMov, INTERSTAT and ODALA in solving future problems.

DESCRIPTION
Atam and Phoops are working together
with Comune di Arezzo to improve the
management and analysis of mobility data
in the city area, using the open source
components of the Odala project and
developing custom modules for the project
itself.
4. Over the past five years ATAM has
developed the Parking platform, which
allows the purchase of parking tickets and
pass for the city of Arezzo and, with most
recent updates, automatic access to off-
street parkings.

5. GOALS
The main goals of ODALA project integration in
Arezzo are:
● Improvement of mobility data collection,
management and analysis
● Improvement of parkings management
thanks to the analysis of the aforementioned
data, with particular attention to historical
series about the occupation of parking lots,
both on-street and off-street
6. COMPONENTS
The Mobility Toolkit and Environment Toolkit
components are being installed in the Arezzo
cloud platform, with the related environmental
sensors.
For the ODALA project, the Travel Planner and
the Mobility Dashboard components were
developed by Phoops and installed in Arezzo
cloud platform.

8. Travel Planner
The travel planner module displays informations
about public transport in the metropolitan area of
Arezzo, such as bus and train stops, lines, routes,
scheduled and real-time arrival and departures.
Processing and geocoding a pair of addresses as
departure and arrival points, the travel planner
provides journey solutions, both with public
transport (bus, train, tram etc.) and private (car
walk, bike) modes.

The Odala project's travel planner consists of
three main layers:
● Data Layer: OpenStreetMap and GTFS
● Service Layer: OpenTripPlanner

Mobility Dashboard collects and
displays information about
● parking spot occupation
● bus stops
● gates for traffic-restricted areas
14. Mobility Dashboard collects and displays data about
overtime parking spots occupation, both for on-street and
off-street parkings.
Data about off-streets parkings are totally accurate and
provided by parkings access software itself.
Data about on-street parking is obtained by the analysis of
the parking tickets purchased with mobile app and parking
meters.
