MATERNITY JOURNEY
   Nov.2012-July2013
WEEK 4

I took a pregnancy test on
November 6th 2012. I found out I
was going to be a Mommy on
 election day (President Obama
won!). I was very surprised by the
news and was speechless. The only
thing I could do was send your
        Daddy this picture.
WEEK 5

The news still doesn’t seem real. I am
so excited and nervous! I read a lot
 about your development on various
websites. It is hard to believe that
you will have arms and legs
within a few weeks! We told
   Grandma and Grandpa Wallace
about your arrival this week and they
are thrilled! We told them by giving
            them these bibs!
WEEK 6

      Although we haven’t officially
announced it on Facebook, some of
our closest friends and families know.
Everyone is excited to hear about your
arrival. I went to the library and
checked out every pregnancy book I
could find! I love learning about how
you are growing in my belly.
I went to get an early ultrasound to
confirm pregnancy and I was relieved
to hear your heart beating away! It was
breathtaking. They told me you are due
July 12th and you were measuring
               exactly on time!

WEEK 9

Your Mommy has been very busy with
school this week. It is finals week and I
  have been studying hard! You
are always in the back of my mind
though. I am hoping you are a girl
but I am thinking you are a boy.
Your Daddy and I have been throwing Your
around names for fun and we both like Daddy fed

      Hazel for a girl and
                                                me a big
                                                breakfast
                                               before this
Abraham for a boy. Your big picture was
                                                  taken!
brother Logan likes the name Austin
for a boy. We have awhile before we
         are able to find out!
WEEK 10

This week I bought a home doppler to
try and find your heart beat at home. It
was my Christmas gift to myself. I
waited for your Daddy to come home
so he could try and find it, but it was
hard! The next night I tried myself and
after about 30 minutes I found your
heart beating away! I recorded it
on my phone and shared it with your
    Grandma Wallace and she loved
hearing it too! I bought my first pair of
 maternity pants this
week and they are so comfy! I feel very
bloated and I can’t wait to have a cute
            baby bump!
