This document provides instructions for a Mandarin class homework assignment. Students are asked to fill a ME Bag with up to 3 items that represent something important about themselves to share with the class. The items must fit in the bag, not be too heavy, and be left at school. Suggested items include things in their favorite color, wrappers from favorite snacks, awards, items related to favorite activities or interests, books, travel souvenirs, and pictures. Students will introduce themselves to the class by presenting the items in their ME Bag.

items

your
classmates
in
Mandarin

week

they
can
learn
about
you
and
the
things
you
like.
Here are some rules to follow:
Ø Only bring things that fit inside the bag.
Ø The items can’t be too heavy – you should be able to
carry the bag yourself.
Ø Only bring items that can be left at school so you can
wait for your turn of sharing
Ø Bring no more than 3 items.
Suggestions:
• Something in your favorite color
• The wrapper from your favorite snack
• An award you have won
• Something that tells about your favorite sport,
animal etc.
• A favorite book
• Something from a trip
• A picture
Be prepared to introduce yourself to the class by
sharing your special items. Have fun; I’ll be sharing a
ME Bag too!!
