General Etiquette
11
● Be prepared for your interview
○ Research interviewer: LinkedIn is easiest
○ Add invites to your calendar- consider scheduling
interview prep time
○ Come prepared with questions
○ Listen Generously - The CoinDesk Way
■ Sometimes things can be lost in translation over Zoom.
Repeat interviewer’s question for clarity and make sure
you have fully understood and answered the question.
● Be On Time
○ If you are running late, email your talent acquisition
representative or coordinator that set up your interview
● What if the interviewer is late?
○ Give them at least a few minutes, generally they are likely
only running late if they are coming from another meeting
○ Still haven’t shown and it’s been awhile? Don’t panic.
Email your talent acquisition representative or coordinator
that set up the interview
● Time running over?
○ Remind interviewer you have a hard stop
○ Still need more time? Ask for a quick follow-up
● Enjoyed your call? Send a note…
○ Notes are a great way to reiterate your interest and
continue the conversation
