2. Who deals with socks?
This is Mohammad Rasel
Mahmud before you & at present
I dependently handle socks
inquiries & production.
But socks development was
started by the hard working of
TL-Joya Tabassum & Assistant
Merchandiser Zaki Zakaria.
I Joined at KappAhl in jersey
department at first & 9 months
later have been shifted to UW
dept to assist J. Merchandiser
Bilkis Bindu on mid of
June’2014.
3. We started our production
with 2 suppliers at the
beginning- Sams fashion
Ltd & Dhaka socks
manufacturing ltd.
After 4 orders We aborted
Sams fashion ltd & Dhaka
socks is rolling now an
unique supplier for
KappAhl socks.
We are continuing to source
some other suppliers &
some of them are in a
queue.
4. Dhaka socks has strong set up of socks machineries & they
accommodate their business from head office-UK.
They situated in Savar nearby Dhaka city & they have other existing
customers as ASDA, TESCO, and SAINSBURY etc.

5. Dhaka socks started with 20 m/cs
& then relocates in 1999 in UAE.
in 2000 they increase their capacity
with 50 m/cs.
now after 13 years they 320 m/cs
set up factory in Dubai.
Specially for cheap labor & GSP
facilities they moved to BD.
want to continue their whole
business as a new projection.

a. 5 years manufacturing
experience in light & heavy knit.
b. Industrial experience in woven
items for three months.
c. 1 year KappAhl jersey team
experience with Shujon Rahman
(MB/BB/MG/BG)

11. Price Feedback Performance
Dhaka socks has a great
feedback regarding price
quotation.
They can quote price
within 1-2 days after
forwarding inquiries.
It’s our great strength that
we met their 1st price
sometimes for few orders.
12. Buyer Feedback & Difficulties
FEEDBACK DIFFICULTIES
We noticed buyer positive feedback to
place order in BD.
In PMP 2015 they decided to provide all
inquiries to BD.
However we need more frequent
feedback from buyer not only to place
order but also have proper knowledge in
socks manufacturing & fitting.
We faced difficulties on some technical
design & fitting comments.
Dhaka socks is new in golf socks for
KappAhl therefore all fitting sample they
need to submit 2-3 times revised
submission.
We feel communication gap between
SW (buyer & BT) and BD (Merchant &
PT) for proper understanding.
