http://www.empowering-project.eu/es/el-proyecto/ “EMPOWERING – Fortalecimiento de las capacidades locales para elaborar estrategias de energía sostenible” es un proyecto financiado por el Programa europeo Horizonte 2020 que contribuye a dirigir a seis regiones europeas hacia una sociedad baja en carbono, a través de la mejora de las capacidades de los representantes locales y regionales para elaborar estrategias y planes de integrales de energía. El proyecto contribuirá a mejorar las destrezas necesarias para planificar medidas energéticas en el nuevo marco de Energía y Clima a 2030, en términos de reducción de gases de efecto invernadero, energías renovables y eficiencia energética.

Project objective: address policies aiming to disconnect mobility from carbon
emissions in rural and suburban areas through strengthening the share of public
transport in the modal split.
1. Collect and analyse good practices (from partner regions and beyond)
2. Learn about the opportunities and challenges when digital services are introduced
3. Review existing policies in light of the previous learning (baseline study)
4. Identify what can be done better in your region/county;
evaluate if successful approaches can be replicated (transferred)
5. Exchange your views with other stakeholders
6. Agree on specific actions to improve the addressed policy
7. Implement the adopted action plan
