“And the Highest Bid Goes to...” “Chevy Test Drive Event”
Considered the highest-per-
forming production Camaro of
all time, and barely street legal,
the 2012 ZL1 Chevy Camaro
rolled into Reed-Lallier Chev-
rolet’s showroom and awaited
its highest bidder.
“It fills me with pride that
I can stand here and say I’ll
gladly auction off the ZL1
Camaro to help benefit the Fort
Bragg Army Fisher House,”
said Mike Lallier.
Since 1990 Fisher Houses
have been serving military fam-
ilies during times of medical
crisis. These comfort homes
are built by the Fisher House
Foundation, Inc., and given as
gifts to the military Services
and the Veteran’s Affairs.

It’s that time again where
Chevrolet proudly participates
in keeping our students moti-
vated to stay in school. The
yearly event of Chevy’s Test
Drive for Perfection kicked
off this year with local high
schools 71st High and Jack
Britt High going head to head
in a friendly competition.
“Each high school had a
chance to earn $50 for each test
drive that they completed,” said
Beth Clark, Marketing Director
of Reed-Lallier Chevrolet, “I’m
so excited to say that both high
schools that participated in this
event rose to the challenge and

  On April 26, Reed-Lallier
Chevrolet’s showroom was
filled with car enthusiasts, eager
spectators, and intense anticipa-
tion to see who would be the
highest bidder for the ZL1
Camaro.
“I’ll say that things got pretty
intense here for a moment, but
you know that it’s all for a good
cause, so after everything peo-
ple were able to breath again,”
joked John Quinn, General
Manager for Reed-Lallier Chev-
rolet, “We’re just so proud to
support such a worthy cause.”
The highest bid went Keith
Allison, owner of Systel. His
winning bid of $61,700 helped
raise $10,000 for the Fort Bragg
Army Fisher House.
“I’m proud that we all can be
here like this and help a great
cause,” said Allison.
“I’m touched and I’m speech-
less,” said Paula Gallero, a
representative from the Fisher
House, “To know that we have
people who would want to
come out and support some-
thing like this makes me glad to
live in a community that truly
cares.”
“[...] each high school did
100 test drives and helped earn
$5,000 for their schools. That is
just amazing.”

on with anticipation.)

test drives at Jack Britt High School.)
