The use of lighting also ties in with
the general editing style of this video
and keeps it captivating and
interesting. The cool tones suggest a
slightly sinister feeling to the video,
along with the fast editing and the
unexplained narrative at the
beginning. This makes the audience
ask lots of questions.
Camera shot
Close up and extreme close up shots of
the model is very interesting because as
…. Said, a lot of music videos tend to focus
in directly on the celebrity. This is
something I would like to include when I
make my music video.
Mis-en-scene
The only thing we can see in this shot is Gigi and
that directs our focus to her. This could make us
more aware of what is about to happen next in
the video and give us an indication that all eyes
need to be on her. She completely fills the shot
and the use of position and posture could show
signs of helplessness, confusion and distress. This
will link to the narrative of the video which our
audience is engaging in.
