The White Oak Group is focused on making control investments in
companies that fit its industry and technology focus. We invest in the
following sectors:
Aerospace & Defense: Companies that provide products and services
to government and commercial customers with a focus on cyber
security, sensors, analytics, communication networks and services,
command and control, avionics and instrumentation, and detection and
deterrence.
Environmental: Providers of technology and services to government
(i.e. EPA, DoD, DoE) and commercial customers with a focus on
planning and prevention, remediation technologies, and monitoring.
Information Management: Companies that offer data analytics,
cyber security, and software products and services across one or more
industries with a focus on competitive intelligence, operating
efficiencies, digital and mobile delivery, and recurring or subscription
revenue models.
Power: Technology and IT firms providing products and services to
government and commercial customers with a focus on power
generation and storage, renewable and mobile power sources, sensors,
and energy efficiency.
Investment Criteria
Typical Profile: $10+ million in Revenue and $1+ million in EBITDA
Transaction Structure: control equity and mezzanine debt
Average Investment Duration: 4–6 years
Geographic Focus: United States only
Company Attributes: Proven technology or service capabilities,
defensible market position, and proven management team committed to
the continued success of the Company
