Then Migration towards Sybase using Power Builder, as client-server communication

Migration and conversion of their banking application (under Cobol IBM )
towards the newly baught software Bank Master ( under unix and windows
using cobol programming language ) , a complete banking system produced by an
Irish company located in Dublin .

Managing a Broker Insurance company ( ASA – Agence saradar d’Assurances )

Migration from an old application written in FoxPro to Oracle 8i using client-server
software ( oracle Developer 2000 forms 6i and reports ..) Developper/2000 ( clients, and
module claims, accounting , production, underwriting … ) .

2. Employee at MedNet Liban ( TPA administrator ) a Third Party Medical and accounting
Administrator Company located in Sin El Fil Beirut ( clients , garantor, adherents,
production claims and accounting modules all running under oracle 8i, then 9i database
plus programming under oracle forms and reports 6i as client-server technology, and then
as web application running under web server using oracle froms server capabilities .
Actual Position : Project manager for 2 years ( 2002 and 2003 ) in Abidjan ( IVORY
COAST ) to Install and manage the Mednet Network .( identical to the Mednet system
Network installed in Lebanon ) .
Software used : Oracle 8i , Developer/2000 forms and reports release 6i .
Plateforms used: unix (HP machine rs/6000) and windows/2000 server (on Compaq
machines)
My tasks were to Connect all Medical provider ( Hospitals, Pharmacies, polyclinics….)
Local and abroad thru routers connection with Internet access , which will use Mednet's
programs and systems to manage their clients and their medical claims .
Since my return to Lebanon on March 2004 till now , I am continuing my responsibility
concerning expansion on Central Afrika ( with servers originally based in Abidjan or
locally in sin el fil lebanon) of all applications and programs plus maintenance and
modifications of existing applications .
PS1: I don't have a degree in OCP or any Oracle product … and I did not follow any DBA
course but I can say that During all these years of experiences I acquired some experience
in DBA ( oracle data base Administrator ) specially when installing oracle 8i in Africa
( with of course on-line help from my collegues in Lebanon thru internet or thru the
phone ) which gave me some acceptable skills and knowledge to continue my
responsibilities.
PS2: Since November 2006 , I started learning and working with Cold Fusion team . Our
job is to develop and maintain the web application property of Mednet Lebanon thru our
portal http://i-care.mednetliban.com.lb:8031 . This portal is distributed on line to enable
the direct on-line invoicing of all health and medical providers in Lebanon ( each with his
own Id and Password ) .
3- ) From 2008 till April 2009:
Implementing a TPA Motor Insurance Application in Egypt (Cairo) (car insurance, trucks,
vehicules, …) as a free lance project , always using Oracle newer version 10g and
oracle web forms 10g .
Main tasks: programming and managing this application from Lebanon and Egypt as well ,
to maintain all users needs and new requests related to their Daily work .( Insurance
updates, production, claims, surveys, payments, delays, … ).
This phase ended in April 2009.
4-) Starting July 1, 2010 till today:
Full time employee at PEPSI CO Lebanon ( Choueyfat ) , as a member of the IT development
team , ( Production, sales, invoicing, distribution and recovery ) are all the applications handled
