2. To get a clear and full understanding of film trailers and
the length of shots, as a group we looked at many examples
of film trailers counting the length of shots and how many
on average consisted within the trailer.
3. On average the film trailers for a horror genre lasted for 2 minutes 30
seconds. The pace of the shots were fast towards the end in order to
create a tense atmosphere.
4. We then went through our storyboard and analysed every shot and
how long we thought it needed to be. The longest shot was maximum
4 seconds, this was for the titles of the film due to there being a lot of
text to read. The minimum length of one shot was 2 seconds and this
was for shots during the fast montage.
