Mastering every sound of the letters in the Engish Alphabet is a sure way to learn how to read. By blending alphabet sounds we can read words. This audio tutorial of alphabet sounds and blending of consonant and vowel sounds aims to help beginning reading learners to read. When reading, we do not name each letter in the word (that is spelling), but we produce each sound of the letter and blend these sounds to form a word. Refer to my blog mentorshare.blogspot.com entitled Teaching Kids to Read Through Phonetic Awareness - a must-read on blogger. Helps a lot. Don't you know there are 28 basic words in English present in almost all of the sentences in the English Language? Memorize these sight words and reading can be easy. Included, too, in this presentation.
