To Whom it May Concern:
In my tenure on the Langston Charter Middle School Board of Directors from 2008-2014,
with the final two years serving as Chairman, Elaine Avilla served as the Publicity
Coordinator for the school. Elaine provided well-written and timely press releases to the
Greenville media community throughout the school year. Langston went through many
big changes during this period of time including a 300% increase in the student body, the
purchase of a state of the art facility, and the celebration of its 10th
year of operation and
Elaine was there to share it all with our community.
Langston has a tradition of excellence, and Elaine’s contributions to the school certainly
exemplified that commitment to quality.
