On behalf of the NAESP Board of Directors and staff, please accept our sincerest gratitude to Lifetouch for your
ongoing support of NAESP. Several key NAESP initiatives, supported by Lifetouch for many years, are continuing
to make a difference for the 65,000 pre-K-8 principals and the 33 million school children they serve all across our
nation. Lifetouch’s annual support of NAESP advances excellence, innovation, and equity in schools to ensure
high-quality education and learning experiences for all students that equip them academically, physically, socially,
and emotionally for success in school and in life.
NAESP’s proactive agenda includes advocacy, professional development for principals, rigorous, innovative
professional standards for school leadership, student leadership development, and promotion of education as a
national, local, and state priority. It is the ongoing, generous support of Lifetouch that enables our Association to
lead in these efforts, particularly developing standards for the profession. As you know, NAESP’s highly acclaimed
Leading Learning Communities series continues to provide important standards and competencies that serve as
benchmarking tools for principals as they work with their students, teachers and parents in creating and
sustaining quality schools.
Importantly, Lifetouch provided the generous support for the development and launch of NAESP’s American
Student Council Association (ASCA) more than 28 years ago. Through ASCA, our nation’s children and youth are
afforded early opportunities for developing leadership skills and good citizenship traits that serve them and their
communities well. This shared vision proved to be the hallmark of the long-term partnership between Lifetouch
and NAESP.
Lifetouch and NAESP have long shared the belief that a high-quality education for all children and youth is key to
a productive, vibrant future for them, our communities and, indeed, our country. We are most grateful to
