Narrative Essay
Life should represent who you are on the inside, how you interact with people, and how
you react to various life events. The people we meet and the situations we encounter in life teach
us a number of lessons about ourselves and the world around us. I was privileged enough to learn
a great deal from the people I looked up to as my childhood mentors. As I grew up, I met various
problems, some of which were natural and others of which were the product of someone else's
actions. Despite these difficulties, my father's words from when I was a child continue to inspire
me. "No one is immune to life's wrath, but this isn't about how strong you can hit; it is all about
how tough one can take it and continue pushing ahead. It's about figuring out how much one can
endure and keep going ahead. That's the way it's done," my father used to tell me as a child.
As a result, these statements had no significance for me; nevertheless, as time progressed,
I came to appreciate the significance of what my father had said. In the face of life's difficulties, I
was constantly on a mission to make the most of what I had. My father's words of
encouragement kept me going when I faced difficulties that seemed like a slap in the face to my
hopes and dreams. Particularly, I acquired poor self-esteem throughout my transition from high
school to college. This was because I had not been able to get a place at my preferred institution.
However, my father came up to me and urged that I meditate on a remark he would sometimes
say. When I realized how significant I was to this universe, I knew that all I could do was keep
pushing ahead. As I came of age and pursued my career, I found several inspirational phrases

that I believed were relevant to my own experiences. These sayings have had a profound impact
on my life. Even amid adversity, it's crucial to stay focused on your objectives and ignore what
other people think. As I focused on the negative comments, I received from individuals when
confronted with obstacles, the TV programs impacted my life.
Reflecting on the worst circumstances of my life helps me better appreciate the
significance of the most meaningful quotations in my life. The aim here is to see if I acquired
anything from those events or just took off running from them. To be clear, fleeing doesn't
always work, but having to learn from one's mistakes might help one establish a brighter future
for themselves. Because I was unable to get into the higher education institution of my dreams, I
now have the potential to serve as a leading model for someone who didn't get into their ideal
school but went on to achieve success nonetheless. As a result, failing to attain our basic
objectives is never the end of life; rather, what is important is how we gather ourselves and go
ahead.
My relationships with relatives, acquaintances and loved ones are the most important
factors in determining if we're "perfect," according to my life experiences. Based on my personal
experiences, I've learned that being perfect involves facing others with life's truths and ensuring
that others don't fail because I didn't tell them. As did my father, I feel I have to share with
people the importance of looking forward and taking lessons from our experiences to succeed in
life's many obstacles and difficulties. As a result, to live a happy and fulfilling life in the future,
we must all learn to concentrate on the positive aspects of life rather than the negative. If you're
going to do something, you will do it.

I encountered challenges in the first draft. Throughout writing the first draft, new content, events,
and actions kept emerging. Going back and adding what's lacking is more appealing than
continuing forward, which derailed the writing process. There was a sense of being out of control
as I got closer to the heart of the narrative. I had a hard time advancing. Editing, revision, and
rewriting always enhance a solid first draft. I want to improve the flow of my draft essay. My
writing will be easier to follow if I follow a logical flow while presenting the main arguments
and supporting facts.
